The concept of creating the DUALITY22 collection is a unique yin-yang interpretation and response to the events of the 2020s.

According to the theory of Yin Yang - translated into English as 'balanced duality' - everything that surrounds us is made up of two opposite polar energies, the interaction of which causes continuous movement and change in our world. This eternal phenomenon fundamentally defines even the global society of the modern age and our personality: it permeates our everyday life, thoughts and feelings.

"This collection serves as a reminder - as is the motivation for creating DoraSilagyi jewelry in general - because we constantly perceive and struggle with duality and contradictions, but we tend to forget about their necessity and proper handling."

In order to be able to maintain a balanced lifestyle in this uncertain, rapidly changing world, now more than ever we have to work on ourselves and create order day by day between the thoughts swirling around us and the extreme energies that surround us. 

Behind the theoretical background, another basic idea of the collection was the realization of the long-desired vision of the designer: the creation of a modern, elegant, exclusive collection that goes beyond trends, by creating a feeling of ordinary luxury, by using gold, silver and precious stones together.

The symbolism of duality can be found in the use of materials and in the details; two types of material thickness, two types of alloys and two types of gemstone sizes appear in random variations. It echoes in the pairing of silver and gold alloys and the play of the 'salt & pepper' diamonds included in the jewelry, the peculiarity of which is that with the black and white inclusions appearing in the material, they bring within themselves the symbolism of opposing yet complementary elements. The wave motif depicts a continuous transition between extremes and poles

Although the objects in the collection can almost stand on their own, as miniature sculptures, the jewels fit perfectly with the shape of the body parts when worn, so that the shapes, with their easy shaping, together become a full-fledged creation. The unique visuals, minimalist silhouettes, fine lines and carefully designed details are also present here. In addition to creating a comfortable accessory that can be easily integrated into our wardrobe, the solutions typical of DoraSilagyi jewelry, such as the rhythm of repeating elements, the visual play of curves and mirror-smooth surfaces, bring the authentic form and atmosphere faithful to the brand, this time raising it to a higher level.

The collection is not finished, with the creation of the basic jewelry, a series of new object ideas were born in the designer, and a lot of connecting designs and unique variations are still waiting to be realized.
