When making a Dora Silagyi engagement ring, you have the opportunity to choose from several options, depending on how specific your idea is, whether there is already a ring that you have looked at, how much time you have available and how much you want to be involved in the process.
1. CUSTOM If you have already looked at a DSJ ring that you like, but would like to modify it in some way, you can start a CUSTOM order by personalizing an existing style. E.g.: you like a shape, but would you imagine it with a different gemstone, you see it in yellow gold on the webshop, but your partner prefers rose gold, you want a smaller/larger gemstone, etc. After prior consultation, we will send you a unique price offer based on your idea!
If you have a set framework for the project, we can offer alternatives accordingly.
2. BESPOKE If you have more time for the project and you want to have an engagement ring made for your partner according to a unique design in the style of DSJ, the first step is to discuss the idea and find a starting point for the design (other jewelry, precious stones, texture, color, shape, personal story, etc.). After that, the possibilities are mapped out, gems are searched for, an approximate price quote is compiled, then the design - design 1. with modification options, and finally design 2., in which you can choose the one you like best from among 3-4 plans.
We will send you a final price offer after the details have been agreed upon and the gemstones have been selected.
we charge a one-time planning fee in advance.
3. READY-TO-SHIP / Made-to-order. In webshop you can also choose from our featured rings and buy them online. Our ready-to-ship pieces can be with you within 2 days, you can find information about the production time of our made-to-order pieces in the product description. If you want to have a ring from the webshop made with minor modifications, you can place it as a CUSTOM order by email.
order preparation
Engagement rings lead time for order preparation – including consultations, material procurement and preparation – average 5-8 weeks. In the case of a unique design, a complex project, or the need to purchase a special gemstone, the process can be longer!
Whether it's your turn to propose or you're already planning your wedding, it's important to think about rings in time!
